Health Alert update

From Tuesday 13 until Friday 30 May, Stuartholme School with the support of Queensland Health has effectively responded to a Measles Health Alert.

The exclusion period for the students and teachers who were classified as ‘susceptible’ finishes at the end of today, Friday 30 May.  From Saturday 31 May these students and staff are welcome to return to normal school-related activities.

The School’s focus now is to provide a steady environment for the girls which will allow them to concentrate on their academic and co-curricula performance until the end of Term 2.   We will continue to work with Queensland Studies Authority to ensure that no student is disadvantaged by the impact of the Health Alert.

Once again, we thank each girl and family, the staff and the broader community for their support and understanding through this challenging period.   Additionally, we are grateful to Queensland Health and the staff of the Metro North Public Health Unit in assisting the School’s Leadership Team during this time.
